Clare Priory Craft Fair

July 8th/9th - 2017

Since 1993 Grade 1 listed Clare Priory has been hosting a Craft Fair on the second full weekend in July. This has grown steadily to become a very popular event, and now receives around 10,000 visitors over the two days. Exhibitors and visitors alike greatly appreciate the unique atmosphere and setting of the Priory, and many have become familiar friends as they return year after year. All proceeds go to charity, and the organisers and helpers are all unpaid volunteers who give their time freely and generously.

Coming Sunday? If you are travelling from the Sudbury direction please be aware there is a road closure in Melford High Street on Sunday from noon to midnight (shown in red below).
We recommend using the A134, turn left into Bull Lane, then right at the far end, or continue on the A134 to turn left at the junction with the A1092.
You can also go part way towards Melford along the B1064 then turn left at Rodbridge Corner and follow the lanes through Foxearth and Pentlow, joining the A1092 at Glemsford.
The green arrows show how to avoid the closure
